ferrari 328 | gts

Not very usual in my collection, the out of box builds, are present, anyway. This time I built a Ferrari 328 GTS from Hasegawa, an iconic model of ‘80’s and in the same times an affordable one. It replaces the 308 and it was produced in 7,400 units until 1989 when 348 GTS was born. The rear V8 transversal engine produces 270 hp and 313 N·m of torque.

The Hasegwa KIT is a good one, almost without moulding traces and the fitting of the parts are almost perfect. The difficulty is if you try to lower it, as I did. In this case you must be as inventive as you can because the geometry of the suspension is very complex (I never saw such a suspension on a model car till now!).

But overall I’m in love with my tiny Ferrari and I fully recommend this KIT to the experimented modellers.

the cars I drove | the 1st

Some counts the women in theyr life. I'm counting the cars I own ! There were 3 cars in my life.
The first I drove were a DACIA 13oo the car of my father, bought brand new in 1974 by him. I drove that car from 1993 until 2oo2, when he sold it. Now I think it wasn’t a very good decision.
The car below is a 1|43^rd DACIA from DeAgostini which get a repaint treatment as well as detailing one.
This custom scale model was a present for my dad. I cannot describe how happy he was when he saw it for the first time!

Military Scale Models | National Exhibition

2013 – The 5th edition of the “Military scale models National exhibition” (https://www.facebook.com/events/574386519291326/?ref=22) takes place at the National Military Museum in Bucharest, Romania (National Military Museum Romania). In spite of the Military dedicated scale models, there are allowed to be exposed all types of scale models, no matter the reproduction scale and the type (navy, terrestrial or aero). The goal is to popularize this hobby among the interested people, to know each other and to show to the others that “it is serious mater”. My contribution at this event consists in 3 scale models, previously presented on this blog, but never seen in real by the Romanian modeling community:
