DACIA 13oo @ 1|8th - Engine and Engine Frame

Hello guys,
It's big, it has details. It is a pity not to go further with all these details. As first experience with a big scale model I can say that the level of details are amazing. Not big difference between this model and the real one except the technologically imposes (some thickness, screws out of scale and the way of assembling some parts). In this first episode we can see the engine and the engine frame ready to be assembled withe the main central floor. You have to notice a little weathering. In this way will be treated all the model. Our car is a used one, well-maintained but not new car.
As detailing I can mention
-painting the frame in the body colour (original Red 27)
-detailing the engine as real one
-transforming all apparent screws from round head in hexagon head
Enjoy the details

DACIA 13oo @ 1|8th

Hello friends,
After a long hesitation I decided : I'll build the DACIA 13oo @ 1|8th by Eaglemoss. There will be a super detailed model, but no color change. The red 27 it has is somehow interesting and it is an original DACIA palette color. In my opinnion it is a pitti to repaint it.
Soon will be a series of articles, may be a special page, on the blog.

Ferrari 25o GTO | Getting in Detail

So, the time I have the Saint Grail has arrived!
Ferrari 250 GTO!
I have It!
I choose the Kyosho 1/18th because of his proportions. And it is awesome! What stance, what shape. I can't get my eyes off.
But... you know my habits... I thought to modify it. In this case it is about detailing the HiEnd Kyosho 1|18th Ferrari 250 GTO.
The model is outstanding except the under-body where there are no wires, pipes or rubber pipes. So, I get some documentation on the net and I replicated the most of them. I'm pretty sure there are not identical with the real car, but as general look is pretty good. We have to take in account that in reality there are some kind of unique treatment for each car. The history of every one of them puts the mark on the car itself making an unique car. Sometimes there are big changes except the chassis number, which it is the only fixed point in the universe of each one from the 39th units ever made.
So, knowing the mass production model, I'll show you what I have done.
Enjoy the pics below.
